La Liane - Rebranding

This was a rebranding project I did for an association based in Senegal. La Liane is an international organisation which offers a safe space for children to stay and educate themselves. The organisation is opening a new information centre for women. This centre is supposed to be a safe space where women can receive the necessary tools to become more empowered in their own lives. They will be able to access contraception, get information about their rights, receive medical assistance and counselling. 

For the rebranding I sought inspiration from the colourful Senegalese clothing, the irregular patterns, bright colours and prints.

I wanted the logo to reflect what the new information centre is about and therefore chose to have a sole woman standing in a strong power pose.
